LEXI Driver Agreement

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

This Driver Agreement governs the relationship between LEXI and drivers who use the LEXI platform to offer ride services to riders.

1. Independent Contractor Status

Drivers using the LEXI platform are independent contractors and are not employees, partners, agents, or representatives of LEXI.

LEXI operates only as a technology platform connecting riders and drivers and does not provide transportation services directly.

2. Driver Responsibilities

• Provide accurate personal and vehicle information
• Maintain a valid driver's license
• Maintain valid vehicle registration
• Maintain required vehicle insurance
• Ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
• Comply with all traffic and transportation laws

3. Pricing and Ride Offers

Drivers may choose which ride requests to respond to and set their own fare using the platform's bidding system.

4. Payments

Payments may be processed through the platform or through third‑party payment providers. LEXI may charge a service fee for use of the platform.

5. Driver Conduct

• Treat riders respectfully
• Avoid discrimination or harassment
• Drive safely and responsibly

6. Ratings

Riders may rate drivers after trips. Poor ratings or safety complaints may lead to suspension or permanent removal.

7. Insurance and Safety

Drivers are responsible for maintaining their own vehicle insurance and ensuring passenger safety.

8. Limitation of Liability

LEXI is not responsible for accidents, damages, disputes, or driver behavior during rides.

9. Account Termination

LEXI may suspend or terminate driver accounts for violations, safety concerns, or fraudulent activity.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
