By accessing the LEXI website or using the LEXI mobile application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Description of the Service

LEXI is a ride‑sharing platform that enables riders and drivers to connect through a transparent fare bidding system.

LEXI does not provide transportation services directly.

LEXI operates solely as a technology platform connecting riders and drivers. LEXI does not employ drivers and is not responsible for any actions, accidents, or damages that may occur during rides.

All financial agreements between riders and drivers occur directly through the platform according to the application's mechanism.

Drivers are independent users and are not employees, agents, or representatives of LEXI.

2. Eligibility

To use LEXI you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Comply with the laws and regulations applicable in the Arab Republic of Egypt

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities conducted through your account
  • Ensuring your information is accurate and updated

LEXI reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.

4. Riders

Riders agree to:

  • Submit fare offers voluntarily
  • Select drivers based on received offers
  • Complete payment for rides according to the available payment method

LEXI does not guarantee ride availability, acceptance of offers, or reaching a specific price.

5. Drivers

Drivers agree to:

  • Choose which ride requests they submit offers for
  • Set their own fares within the application bidding system
  • Be responsible for vehicle licensing, insurance, and vehicle condition
  • Comply with all applicable transportation and traffic laws

LEXI may suspend or deactivate driver accounts that violate policies or receive repeated safety complaints.

6. Payments

Payments may be processed through third‑party payment providers.

LEXI is not responsible for errors, delays, or issues caused by external payment processors.

Any service fees or commissions within the application will be clearly disclosed.

7. Ratings & Conduct

All users agree to:

  • Treat others with respect
  • Avoid abusive, illegal, or unsafe behavior
  • Provide honest ratings within the rating system

LEXI may take action including warnings, restrictions, or suspension against users who misuse the platform.

8. Safety Disclaimer

Although LEXI provides certain safety features such as ratings and emergency tools, users acknowledge that:

  • LEXI cannot guarantee personal safety in all circumstances
  • All users participate in rides at their own responsibility

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • LEXI is not responsible for accidents, injuries, damages, or losses occurring during rides
  • LEXI is not responsible for the actions or behavior of riders or drivers

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, designs, software, and materials related to LEXI are owned by LEXI or licensed to LEXI.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, or use platform materials without permission.

11. Termination

LEXI may suspend or terminate access to the platform at any time if these Terms are violated or for safety, security, or misuse reasons.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

13. Changes to the Terms

LEXI may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Updates will be published on the website or inside the application. Continued use of the service means acceptance of the updated terms.
