By accessing the LEXI website or using the LEXI mobile application, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Service Description

LEXI is a ride-sharing platform that enables riders and drivers to connect through a fare-bidding mechanism. LEXI does not provide transportation services directly.

Drivers are independent individuals, not employees or agents of LEXI.

2. Eligibility

To use LEXI, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Comply with applicable laws in Egypt

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • All activity conducted under your account
  • Ensuring your information is accurate and up to date

LEXI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Riders

Riders:

  • Offer fares voluntarily
  • Choose drivers based on received bids
  • Are responsible for payment once a ride is accepted

LEXI does not guarantee ride availability or pricing outcomes.

5. Drivers

Drivers:

  • Choose which rides to bid on
  • Set their own prices
  • Are responsible for licenses, insurance, and vehicle condition
  • Must comply with local transportation laws

LEXI may deactivate drivers who violate policies or receive repeated safety complaints.

6. Payments

Payments are handled through third-party payment providers. LEXI is not responsible for payment processing errors caused by external providers.

Fees, commissions, or service charges (if any) will be disclosed in the app.

7. Ratings & Conduct

Users agree to:

  • Treat others respectfully
  • Avoid abusive, illegal, or unsafe behavior
  • Participate honestly in the rating system

LEXI may take action against users who misuse the platform.

8. Safety Disclaimer

While LEXI provides safety features such as ratings and emergency tools, users acknowledge that:

  • LEXI cannot guarantee personal safety
  • Users participate at their own risk

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • LEXI is not liable for accidents, injuries, or losses occurring during rides
  • LEXI is not responsible for actions of riders or drivers

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software related to LEXI are the property of LEXI and may not be used without permission.

11. Termination

LEXI may suspend or terminate access at any time if these terms are violated or for security reasons.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

LEXI may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
